Palo Santo - also known as “Tree of Life” - has been used for centuries by the Incas and indigenous people of the Andes. It has a pleasant vanilla-like, soft fragrance.
The old Aztecs used Palo Santo for both medicine and ritual purposes. Palo Santo was burned as incense for curing. Common uses are: as an insect repellent, for colds, asthma, allergies, stress, anxiety, sea sickness, migraine, arthritis, neck aces, cervical pain, meditation, relaxation and to clean and purify the air.
When collecting the Palo Santo wood forests are not cut down, only dead trees are harvested. This cleans the jungle, it´s a 100% ecological act and protects natural resources.
Use of Palo Santo:
Palo Santo can be relit many times. When lighting, allow the wood to burn for less than a minute, then blow the flame out and wave around to fill the place with the smoke.
